After years of rally experience since 2013, we’ve studied how crashes affect both riders and equipment. Sudden terrain changes can send the screen into a rider’s helmet or throat, risking serious injury. To address this, Aurora developed a patented system that allows the screen to move forward—or even detach entirely—during heavy impacts, greatly reducing the forces on the rider. Depending on setup, the brackets can slide automatically or be pre-set to positions that best suit each rider’s needs.

The V4D model is equipped with a completely new GPS chip, delivering significantly higher precision, faster signal acquisition, and improved stability even in challenging environments — such as dense urban areas or under heavy foliage.

The CI Pad v4d is equipped with a pre-installed gloss foil screen protector for superior sharpness, and a second satin glass protector to minimize reflections and improve readability in direct sunlight. Both protectors are available also as separate accessories.

Enhanced Power Efficiency

Despite its 2.6x brighter screen, the v4c’s optimized nano LED technology ensures that power consumption remains low. You can count on consistent charging, and like its predecessors, the v4c is resilient against overheating.

Dual Charging System

Equipped with dual charging ports (holder pins and M8 screw-type power cable), the v4d ensures reliable power while you’re on the move. Its smart 5V power supply only activates when it detects at least 13.5V, typically when your engine is running, ensuring you don’t drain your bike’s battery. Or you can choose a power source with constant output, which can be practical on bikes that are not able to provide sufficient voltage reliably, e.g. at engine speeds at or close to idle.

Enjoy all the benefits of a modern Android tablet, including the ability to install navigation, social media, and entertainment apps. With 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and expandable memory (up to 128GB via microSD), the v4d has all the space and speed you need.

Specially Designed Holder

The CI Pad v4d holder is designed to survive extreme conditions and ssecurely hold your tablet during your rides. You can choose between the Active and Passive holder versions. Active holder uses contact pins that allow CI Pad to be inserted or removed from the holder quickly, but also includes M8 charging cable for most reliable charging. Passive holder on the other hand only includes M8 charging cable, which should be the go-to solution if you plan to ride regularly in more challenging environment, such as
gravel, fire roads or pure offroad.

Carpe Iter Controller app

Carpe Iter Controller app is a piece of software that elevates Carpe Iter controllers beyond simple Bluetooth keyboard (which is what almost all other remote controllers you ever saw on a bike are – simple keyboard, just with just fewer keys than the one on your desk or notebook).

The Controller app provides a simple on screen configuration interface

And provides access to additional features, such as joystick, orientation and LED configuration in case of Adventure Control and front wheel sensor calibration and testing for both Adventure Control and Terrain Command
