The new Aurora Rally Kit is a complete navigation system designed for the Husqvarna 701 and KTM 690. It brings a new level of refinement to the Lite kit series, introducing a stiffer and more durable three-piece aluminium tower, improved airflow at high speed, and more powerful lights. All offer faster and cleaner service access around the wiring, lights, and frame. With OEM part reliability and no frame modification required, the Gen2 Lite Kit delivers rally ergonomics and adventure functionality in a compact, lighter package.

Designed for riders who want rally precision without adding unnecessary bulk, this new tower features a three-piece structural design that improves stiffness, reliability, and serviceability in one move.

KEY FEATURES

Three-Piece Navigation Tower

A redesigned tower designed fiercely tested in our 890 and 901 series has proven to increase stiffness whilst reducing vibration, and improving long-term reliability. True to our rally background each of the three piece assembly can be removed independently for easier assembly and service or replacement after crashes. No need to take off any bolts. Just loosen them and slide-in / slide-out! There is a failsafe system and rally mechanics are gonna love servicing this kit!

  • Easy return to OEM – no cuts, no drils, no mods! return your bike to its original state whenever you please.
  • Built for compliance – Our kit has passed TUV in all countries including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Ride with confidence – CNC hard billet construction, guaranteed for life on all CNC parts.

Wind Protection

Using the KTM Rally Screen means not only safety and reliability that comes with any standard OEM part. Its use also helped us optimize the tower angle so it can provide stable airflow for long-distance travel without adding unnecessary height or bulk. Just the use of OEM screen does not equal improved aerodynamics without the proper adjustment, placement and analysis.

LIGHTS

  • Quality OEM components: Tried and tested performance that works. The standard setup uses trusted OEM Hella® M60 LED as both hi and main beam. Built on factory performance.
  • Take it a step further: For riders needing maximum light output, we offer an alternative upgrade, swapping the high beam or both for the industry-leading Baja Designs® S1. (Baja lights are off-road use only)
  • OEM Confidence: The KTM® polycarbonate Stone Guard provides excellent protection, and it's designed to be easily swapped out if it takes a serious hit. Comes by default on the Hella/Hella set up and available as an extra on Hella/Baja set up.
  • Indicator Set up: A smart design choice: the indicators are shielded behind the screen which significantly improves their survival rate during falls.

NAVIGATION BACKPLATE

The new tower is designed around real adventure demands, not just a place to mount a GPS. The backplate offers a dedicated, vibration-controlled mounting space where you install GPS units, tablets, digital roadbooks, and AMPS-compatible accessories. Everything has been designed with the rider's view in mind and because every rider is different you can adjust the angle using the dedicated slots.

  • Aurora 701/690: Dedicated backplate with dual AMPS mount and plenty of space to safely arrange cables.

LIGHTING OPTIONS

The kit comes with three different light options: Hella / Hella , Hella / Baja S1 and Baja S1 / Baja S1 . The KTM Stone guard comes by default in the Hella / Hella option and is offered as at additional cost in the Hella / Baja option.

Will this kit improve wind protection for tall riders? Plus

Yes. The tower geometry lifts the airflow higher and stabilizes it, especially for riders over 185–190 cm.
IS THE KIT STREET LEGAL? Plus

The kit is street legal if you select the street legal light option (Hella Main / Hella High). We are also able to provide you with material specs on the aluminium used in the tower and clamp. Please send us an email if you need more details.
Why are you using aluminum instead of carbon tower? Plus

The tower is engineered with stability and safety in mind. Unlike KTM factory tower clones that place weight and components too far forward, our design balances the center of gravity by mixing materials and varying thicknesses for optimal performance. Easy access to electrics, proper cooling, and energy-absorbing zones ensure that in case of impact, your gear stays protected and you keep riding—whether it’s to a rally bivouac or back home.
If I buy this kit can I convert it to Xplorer after? Plus

At present this kit is not compatible with any other kits we produce. We are working on a Gen2 Xplorer version.
